Is stalking itself a OK thing to do?
Like u said, stalking happens to celebtiries all the time, right? And I'm sure that some of them do stalk because they think they are "guardians" of their precious celebrities. Then, isn't stalking a type of voluteer work to protect them? SHould they be accused and put into jails or charged?

Interesting thoughts Yoshie,
I guess they imagine that to themselves and they do not intend to cause their "victim" any harm.
However i think everyone would feel uncomfortable when they are met with unwanted or unexpected contact.
I do think though that in many cases, reporting the offence to the police is the last resort in trying to do something about what makes you feel uncomfortable, I mean as long as your "guardians" work does not pursue you to such an extent it affects your every day life etc, and the person is not pushing him or herself at you they are not really harming you and are not doing anything wrong.
I guess what it all comes down to is that you have to be comfortable, and if having a stalker prevents you from living your life then yes i believe they should be charged, if that is the only measure to be done to be left alone.
In addition i think that all celebs need fans to a certain degree. Because otherwise who would go see their films or buy their music?
It is only those who cross the line and intrude like you mentioned Ida.
well, ida that is a very interesting subject, however, theres got to be more to life than stalking celebrities, i mean afterall, there are much more interesting people you can stalk, like politicians and scientists.
Stalking it self comes from a bad self image and having too much spare time, interesting point though. I guess it would be kind of fun to be stalked, but only up to a certain limit. there are two types of stalking from the way i see it, cute adorable stalking (done by fans) and scary stalking (done by journalists, or criminals/rapisits/psychos) if youre unlucky lol
